OVFC was dispatched to a confirmed structure fire at 00:29 on 8/17/20. Called in by an off duty sheriff's deputy, the house was fully involved upon first arriving unit 25-02. A signal 30 was transmitted and Berne Fire and New Salem Fire were requested mutual aid for tankers. The incident was a defensive operation, as it was fully involved and no one was currently living in the house after being sold. Delmar Fire added additional manpower on scene and North Bethlehem provided rehab services on scene.
