Sunday November 7th at 23:15 hours the Coeymans Hollow Fire Company was dispatched for a working house fire with reported entrapment of a male in the basement. CHFC Chief 601 immediately called for the assistance of Onesquethaw Fire due to the situation. Units arrived on Copeland Hill Road to find a large 3 bay garage fully involved that was catching the side of the house on fire. Luckily, the homeowner in the basement was able to self extricate before arrival. ETA 25-30 was 2nd arriving and began assisting CHFC firefighters with knocking down the fire to prevent spread to the house. ETA 25-31 established a water supply at the end of Copeland Hill Road. Unit 25-32 covered the OVFC district. Other departments on scene included New Baltimore Fire (FAST), Ravena Fire, Coeymans Fire, Westerlo Fire, Selkirk Fire, and Ravena Rescue Squad. No injuries were reported.
