|The purpose of the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire
Company, Inc., is to provide education, awareness,
emergency medical services, and rescue to the public in
times of need.
Please feel free to look around, check out the pictures, read a little about us,
and contact us if you're interested in volunteering.
OVFC is a completely volunteer fire company in Southern Albany County,
protecting the town of New Scotland for over 70 years.
Feura Bush Station 2, previously located at 1373 Indian Fields Rd, has been moved to the
newly constructed station at 6 Unionville-Feura Bush Rd (Map) and 25-21 is currently
opperating out of it. We are there every Monday at 7pm if you would like to stop in and view
DEC Burn Ban
Here's the basics:
-In effect March 16th-May 14th
-Small cooking and camp fires are exempt provided they only burn clean, untreated wood or
-Celebratory bonfires are exempt provided they burn clean untreated wood
-there are several agricultural exemptions
-Fire training exercises are also exempt provided they are performed under OFPC guidelines
